WEST FLANDERS VENTILUS ELIA HIGH-VOLTAGE NEW LINE

These photographs were made during a press visit in Zuienkerke on Monday 14 September 2026, as operator Elia began the first phase of work on the Ventilus project, the new high-voltage power line in West Flanders intended to transport electricity generated offshore. The coverage shows the site of the early works and the people present at the visit, among them Elia's Simon November and Valerie Dalozea and farmer Francky Snaet, pictured individually and together on the land where the line is being built.
