Album photos

Album is an editorial photo archive covering culture, heritage and everyday life, with particular depth in the Caucasus and neighbouring parts of Asia. The images document religious architecture and interiors, including Orthodox cathedrals and churches, frescoes, icons and mosques, alongside archaeological sites and museum objects such as ceramics, tools and figurative pieces from antiquity and the medieval period. Urban subjects are well represented: historic city centres, markets and shopping arcades, shops and food and wine culture, bathhouse districts, repurposed industrial buildings used as cultural venues, Soviet-era and Brutalist housing and monuments, street scenes and residents going about daily life. Picture editors and publishers can draw on the collection for travel and destination features, articles on religion, history and archaeology, architecture and urbanism coverage, educational and reference publishing, and general illustration of regional society.
