De collectie van Pacific Press Agency, een persfotobureau dat via Newscom wordt gedistribueerd, bundelt redactionele foto's uit Azië, met een duidelijk zwaartepunt in de Filipijnen en Pakistan. De beelden documenteren het dagelijkse nieuws en de maatschappelijke actualiteit: economische thema's zoals brandstof- en energieprijzen en de gevolgen daarvan voor consumenten, demonstraties en acties van burgerbewegingen, vakbonden en belangenorganisaties, mensenrechten en sociale kwesties, naast religieuze en culturele vieringen en officiële ceremonies. Het werk van vaste fotografen ter plaatse levert zowel overzichtsbeelden van straat- en protestsituaties als portretmatige en documentaire opnames op, bruikbaar als actuele nieuwsfoto's en als archiefbeelden bij achtergrondverhalen. De beeldbank is daarmee geschikt voor uitgevers, redacties en bedrijven die betrouwbaar gedocumenteerde regionale beeldverslaggeving zoeken. De foto's zijn via Fast Media in licentie te nemen voor redactioneel gebruik in print, online en audiovisuele producties.
